Recent Visits by the AAR

Congratulations and kudos go out to our teams at Portland Rivergate, Kansas City - Argentine, and Palm Center for their great AAR scores.  Portland Rivergate scored a 99.43% which was an increase from their prior September, 2009 score of 98.93%. Kansas City Argentine pulled off a 99.69% even with tornado sirens going off throughout the audit!   As stated by Mike Kelley, President, "This score puts them in the top 5% for all of North America and shows their dedication to being audit ready each and every day."  To raise the bar even higher, the Palm Center Florida Team achieved an overall score of 99.97%.  Dave Shasteen, TDSI Regional Operations Manager stated "This achievement is not only the highest year-to-date rating throughout the CSX automotive network, but also ranked #1 throughout the entire automotive industry.  Special thanks to Inter-Rail Transport as their team operates the West Palm terminal for TDSI.  This team continues to deliver positive results.  Congratulations to the entire West Palm team." 

TDSI Environmental Audits Receive Platinum Status

Each year, the CSX Environmental Systems group manages a series of inspections of CSX facilities where the nature of the work could generate risks to the environment.  For the first time, the Environmental teams this year identified five automotive distribution centers for the audit.  Inter-Rail is located at two of the centers, New Boston, Michigan and West Palm Beach, Florida.  The centers were audited by outside auditors to determine whether the facilities were compliant with environmental rules pertaining to cleanliness, storage of potentially toxic liquids such as fuels and cleaning agents, wastewater runoff and other risk points.  We are proud to have been a part of these audits where the highest or platinum-level status was received at our West Palm Beach facility.

Honda Awards Lawrenceville, GA and Richmond, CA

Inter-Rail teams were included in recent awards received from Honda.  CSX Team Lawrenceville received the 3rd Quarter Honda Performance Excellence Award - Rail Destination for on-time performance.  The Honda Rail Destination - West Award for the 3rd Quarter was bestowed upon the BNSF Richmond facility. It takes a coordinated effort among many people to have these facilities operate smoothly on a daily basis.  Many thanks to Honda for recognizing these top performing ramps.
